There are 4 fantastic cycle tours to choose from making use of the easy to navigate cycle route network around Bruges. Here is a suggested itinerary but you can decide your own itinerary from the routes provided. For example you might want to incorporate a rest day.

The bikes are normally available from the late afternoon on Day 1, so if you are arriving early and want to tackle one of the suggested routes you need to let us know in advance so that we can arrange for the bikes to be delivered earlier.
Day 1:
Arrival in Bruges and possible cycle ride
If you arrive early enough, you might want to cycle to the parks and nature reserve area around Bulskampveld. This is a round trip of 34 miles (55 km). Alternatively, you might just want to enjoy a stroll around the city centre and relax in one of the many bars or restaurants.
Day 2: Round trip to De Haan , 34 miles (55 km)
This ride will take you through the picturesque village of Lissewage and the beautiful seaside towns of De Haan and Blankenberge, cycling between the sea and the dunes, before returning to your hotel in Bruges.
Day 3: Round trip to Knokke, 36 miles (59 km)
Today you could enjoy a route alongside canals through the picturesque village of Damme and on to the town of Knokke at the seaside.
Day 4: Round trip to Wijnendaele, 43 miles (69 km)
The final ride takes you to the south west of Bruges, to the castles around Torhout and Wijnendaele in West Flanders. Wijnendale is situated on a plateau 20 metres higher than the surrounding countryside. This is the biggest hill climb you are likely to encounter! Then it is back to Bruges for your final night and a chance to sample some more gastronomic delights.
Day 5: Departure from Bruges
Departure from Bruges after breakfast or you may choose to extend your stay with an extra night if you were unable to tackle the ride suggested for Day 1.
